October 11, 2019 Dear Parents We are almost half way through October, can you believe it?!! I wanted to send home a quick memo with regarding to a few items. 1. The book orders are due on the 16th of October. My Scholastic account should be up and running for online orders. If not, please advise and I will look into it asap. 2. A monthly calendar will be sent home at the beginning of each month. 3. Book exchange (Library) will start next week. Students are allowed to check out 1 book at a time. Please ensure they bring them to school on library days. 4. I am working with our technology person to get my homework webpage up and running. I am hoping to have it set up early next week, if not earlier. 5. I have been allowing the students to have a small morning snack around 9:30 because many are getting hungry by then. So you can send along a small snack with them that they can eat while they work. 6. Caylee Roger's had to change her birthday party plans due to a recent fire. It has been rescheduled for October 20th from 1-3 at the MEWS Center on Mundy Pond Road. It will be in the gym, not the pool. Please RSVP at 725-0817 or n.gosse@hotmail.com We are having a great year so far! Your children are settling into grade 3 quite well. I am looking forward to all the successes this year will bring!! Happy Thanksgiving! Ms. Boland
